Senior Manager of Fan Experience, Spurs Sports & Entertainment San Antonio Shannon is going into his 7th season with Spurs Sports & Entertainment. His focus is on guest service, the fan journey and arena event staffing. Spurs Sports & Entertainment owns and operates the San Antonio Spurs (NBA), Austin Spurs (NBA Development League) and San Antonio FC (USL), and also hosts concerts, family shows and the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo. Venues handled include the AT&T Center and Toyota Field. Previously, Shannon was an elementary school teacher and a certified special education/intervention specialist. He also spent 13 years in restaurant management, specializing in guest service and marketing. |
Phillip Hastings
Vice President of Event Experiences, Golden State Warriors San Francisco Phillip is going into his 5th season with the Warriors, and 19th season in the NBA. His first 14 seasons were with the Orlando Magic. Phillip directs all aspects of the Chase Center guest experience to ensure the venue delivers world-class customer service to all Chase Center guests, team members, talent and clients. Directly responsible for the recruitment, development, training and management of the guest services staff including ushers, ticket takers, the concierge staff and the uniform operation, Phillip also oversees Chase Center’s food and beverage program and manages Chase Center’s partnership with Bon Appetit and Levy. Following its inaugural year, Chase Center was named “Sports Facility of the Year” by Sports Business Journal. |
