Scott Vandermoon
Associate Director, Facilities, Centers LLC DePaul University Campus Rec (Chicago) Scott manages the daily operations, capital planning and risk management at the Ray Meyer Fitness & Recreation Center. He joined the DePaul team in 2008 as the Assistant Director, Student Development where he was responsible for student staff hiring, training, scheduling and departmental student development initiatives. Scott has a bachelor's in religion and speech communication from Augustana College, and a master's in kinesiology from Western Illinois University. He is a CPR instructor for the American Heart Association and a member of NIRSA, Leaders in Collegiate Recreation. |
Shane DeWald
Recreation Manager Blue Valley Recreation (Overland Park, Kan.) Shane oversees the operations of the Sports Complex and the Recreation Center at Hilltop. With more than 18 years of experience in parks and recreation, he’s also served as the Executive Director of Belton Parks & Recreation and oversaw the daily operation of a wellness center, two aquatic facilities and three athletic complexes. A graduate of Fort Hays State University, DeWald received his undergraduate degree in health and human performance with an emphasis in recreation/sport management, as well as a minor in business. He received his master’s in sports administration from Wichita State University. |
Marvin Gresse
Assistant General Manager Stone Creek Club & Spa (Covington, La.) Marvin’s attention to detail and extensive experience in all aspects of club operations ensure that no detail of the Stone Creek experience is overlooked. A native of New Orleans, Marvin is responsible for departmental operations, capital projects and long-range planning. He was the owner’s rep for the construction and start-up of the $21 million club. A 26-year industry veteran that sits on a REX Roundtable, Marvin prides himself on creating the best possible member experience and producing desired results to the ownership group.
