Bill McBride
President & CEO | BMC3 – Bill McBride Consulting, Coaching & Club Management Co-Founder, President & CEO | Active Wellness Bill is a health club industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience leading and managing all aspects of commercial health clubs, medical fitness centers, residential, community, multi-tenant and corporate fitness sites. He co-founded Active Wellness, LLC and owns a health club consultancy - BMC3. Bill has served as Chairman of the IHRSA Board of Directors, President of the MidAtlantic Club Management Association (MACMA) and served on the Industry Advisory Board for the American Council of Exercise (ACE). He is actively engaged as an author on industry education, serves on several fitness related technology company Advisory Boards, serves on the Medical Wellness Association (MWA) as a Faculty Member. He recently also served on the ACSM Facility Standards & Guidelines 5th Edition Committee as an editor. Bill consults and speaks regularly on industry topics throughout the world. |
Chris Nunes, PhD, CPRE
Director of Parks & Rec | The Woodlands Township (TX) Chris is responsible for a $36.3 million operational budget and manages 148 parks, 15 pools and aquatic facilities and 220 miles of pathways. He speaks on topics including business plans, contracting, creative programming, marketing, external funding, communication, leadership and succession planning. In 2015, he received the National Distinguished Professional Award from NRPA. In 2016-2017, he was the President of the American Academy of Parks and Recreation Administrators and in 2019, The Woodlands Township was recognized by NRPA by winning the Gold Medal Grand Plaque Award for excellence in parks and recreation management. |
Steven Trotter, MS, ACSM, ACE
Associate Director | East Carolina University, Principal | Globetrotter Wellness Solutions Steven is a consultant, continuing education provider, adjunct faculty member in health and fitness science, and principal for Globetrotter Wellness Solutions. He also serves as the associate director for wellness and fitness at East Carolina University. His expertise is rooted in university rec programs with a repertoire in leadership and organizational development, fitness facility design and management, and program management. He is a 2017 IDEA Program Director of the Year finalist and presents at numerous conferences across North America.
